5 Christian Books You Have to Read Before the Year is Over!
2017 is coming to a close and we’re reminiscing about all the great books that were released this year! We only have a few days to get in as many books as possible, so here are 5 Christian books we think you should pencil in so you don’t fall behind in the new year!
1. The Deuce by F.P. Lione
The Deuce is the first book in the four-book series, Midtown Blue, by Christian author F.P. Lione. Follow Tony Cavalucci on his journey as a New York City police officer. Tony is feeling drained, lost, alone, and is about to give up, and then he meets Joe Fiore. Joe is Tony’s new partner who has the strength and confidence that Tony has been searching for, and he can help Tony find that as well.
“In fact, the way the story ends is much more true to life than most Christian fiction books I read. Instead of a definitive end, you could say that at the conclusion of the book you feel that this is just the beginning for Tony. I felt that way and thought to myself, “I would definitely want to read more.” So if the hints are true, and this is a series, then I’ll be very happy to read more. I hope you will too when you read this book.”- Amazon Reader
The Deuce is a must read before the year is over, mainly because the rest of the books in this series are quickly releasing and you don’t want to fall behind!

2. The Noel Diary by Richard Paul Evans
The Noel Diary is a holiday novel you don’t want to miss! Not only should you read this before the year is over, but probably this weekend to get you in the Christmas spirit!
One reader put it best: “This book was a bit different than his usual stories, but it was a total delight. This story seemed to be written by someone with firsthand knowledge of the emotional issues of children not raised in loving families. I had tears in my eyes reading the story of Jacob’s childhood. Rachel and Noel also had difficult childhoods. It always amazes me how the lives of Mr. Evans’s characters are woven together in various and surprising ways. I appreciate the author’s attention to detail and his wonderful descriptions. I can almost picture the scenes and feel what the characters are feeling. As others have mentioned, this is a love story on many levels, involving multiple people and varying relationships. This was such a heartwarming and inspirational story with themes of hope and forgiveness. The characters in his books become like friends that I don’t want to leave. I hope you will give this book a chance. It is so nice to read clean stories that are interesting and uplifting”

5. Was Jesus Really Born on Christmas? By Greg Tobin
Nothing says Christmas more than learning about Christmas! Greg Tobin covers Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, St. Patrick’s day, and much more in this book!
How did Sunday become the “Sabbath Day?” Why did St. Valentine become the patron saint of lovebirds? Most people happily participate in Mardi Gras, Halloween and St. Patrick’s Day with very little knowledge of the origins and meanings of those celebrations. Greg Tobin unearths the religious roots of the seemingly secular, offering historical trivia and the sometimes bizarre origins of the days throughout the year that bring people together.
So, if you want to learn a little more this year, this is one you need to pick up!
