In The Meantime
by Cliff Hudgins
Much of life can be depicted as waiting in line. Whether it is the line at the grocery store, the line at the post office, or the line at the DMV office, much of our time is spent waiting. We are moving from one place to another, with the hope of improvement on the other end of the line. The younger generation is easy to identify while they are in line. Their hands are occupied with some electronic instrument and are either playing games or texting to others. What do you do in line? Another way to ask that same questions is; what do you do in the meantime, that is the time between the Christian promise and the Christian hope?
