It is the end of a season and the transition to a new one, anxiety levels may be high. The kids are back to school, schedules back on track and stress and worry might come flooding into your life. You might be overwhelmed at work, lacking resources or money, fearful for the future, or just feeling a little down. These are normal feelings that everyone experiences and there are ways to get through it.
But Philippians 4: 4-6 tells us
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
With this, do not let the overwhelming anxiety and doubts get to you, but rejoice. Put everything in the Lord and watch what happens. Pray. Pray for yourself, your family, your friends, pray for the world. Petition. And be thankful in all of these requests, for you know with prayer your fears and doubts will be answered.
With the help of our God, you will get through the struggles you are currently anxious about.
