All Roads Lead Home: Regretting There by L. L. WardSometimes when the past catches up, it is not all that bad. Not entirely.

A person’s past catches up with them when they least expect it and often does it in under a minute. Jesse’s did. His threw him on a horse in the dark of night, dragging him down to Texas to answer for it. A surprise fellow traveler joins him. The lost pair find a cabin in the Texas Panhandle inhabited by others with questionable pasts. And possible presents.

Regretting There dives into Jesse’s past and collides head-on with his present; leaving the wayward man questioning all he thought he knew about himself. And more crossing of racial bloodlines – for the times – is socially unhealthy.

Regrets can be plentiful for the wayward traveler after many roads.
