James DyetJames Dyet

Born in Scotland, James Dyet grew up in St. Catharines, Ontario. He holds a BA in Religion with French and History minors, a Master’s in Theology, and a ThD in English Bible. He was a full-time pastor from 1958 to 1971, and has served as a pulpit supply, part-time pastor, and interim pastor since 1971. In addition, he served as an editor for 30 years.

He has authored 21 books, 60 curriculum courses, numerous devotional guides, and hundreds of articles. He served on the Jerry Jenkins Editorial Board and mentored students for the Christian Writers Guild.

Dyet and his wife Gloria have been married 58 years and live in Colorado Springs. They have three adult children and two granddaughters, all of whom live in the Denver area.

James Dyet enjoys golf and daily walks with his two small dogs, Sadie and Gracie.
